After 4 long months, the Burghwallis Parish Council can now meet again, after the relaxation of lockdown rules regarding inter-personal contact and the closure of public spaces.
The parish council have been working away in the background as individuals, reporting fly tipping, clearing litter, monitoring the playground etc. Now they can meet as a ‘distanced’ group.
Therefore, we are pleased to announce that the next meeting of the Parish Council will take place on Tuesday 21st July, at 7.00 pm in The Burghwallis pub. As usual, members of the public are welcome to attend, but please be aware that social distancing measures will be in place and all persons attending must take responsibility for their own personal hygiene, as appropriate.
We thank you for your patience during lockdown. Fortunately there have not been any burning issues raised through this period, so we have not had to take any alternative forms of “meeting.”
