We have been notified by DMBC that Scorcher Hills Lane will be closed from 08.00 hrs on the 7th February until 17.00 hrs on the 8th of February from the junction with Grange Lane up to Cardinal Gardens.
This is to ensure a safe working environment for the laying of a new gas supply to one of the houses on Scorcher Hills Lane. Traffic coming from the A1 southbound will have to turn off at Five Lane Ends and use Crabgate Lane and Grange Lane to gain access to the village.
If the work is completed more quickly the closure will be removed as soon as it is safe to do so.
