The playing field has been adorned with a brand new seat. Made from the very best recycled plastic you can rest your rear end and ponder on what lumps of unwanted plastic have gone into its construction. As plastic takes around 500 years to degenerate the seat has real potential to end up in the list of village ancient monuments.
The plastic nature of the seat means it doesn’t need painting, possibly one of the greatest assets any inanimate object can possess. The only drawback is plastic seats have a tendency to distort slightly with the heat from the sun. Thus by parking your backside you will shield it from the solar rays and thereby can never be accused of mere malingering.
The seat, provided by the parish council was painstaking installed by Mr Cordray and can be seen at the football end of the playing field clearly marked “seat.”
