You will be probably aware the Burghwallis Neighbourhood Plan is reaching its final draft stages. At the moment the draft is being reviewed by a number of external parties. When ready it will be released for your comments over a six week consultation period that will hopefully start in January 2015.
In the meantime you may care to have look at a promotional leaflet which explains the process and benefits of having a Neighbourhood Plan for Burghwallis. The Plan, once finalised and approved, will run alongside the DMBC planning procedure reinforcing the key elements that the residents of the village wish to seek adopted and/or protected.
