Playingfield Annual meeting minutes – Tuesday 14th May 2024

MINUTES OF THE PLAYING FIELD MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY 14^TH MAY 2024

1. Elect a Chairman for the Playingfield Charity

Councillor Dave Maxwell was proposed as chairman.

RESOLVED councillor Maxwell accepted.

None.

• Minutes of the meeting held 30^th May 2024

RESOLVED that the minutes be signed. 

• Financial Matters

Updated reconciliation of accounts received.

£180 – JM Scott Playing field maintenance.

• Charity Commission

Annual return to be completed later in the year when due.

• General update on playing field.
• Weekly inspection completed on the Playing field & Pinfold.
• Awaiting report from CDC to inspect and remove dead trees. 
• CDC Surface moss cleaning on the Play equipment area is still waiting to be completed by CDC as previous clean was unsatisfactory.  Invoice is still on hold.
• Benches all thru the village need staining.  6 in total.

• Pinfold

Bottom step of the pinfold has been reported to be slippery.  Councillor Grimes has cleaned this as much as possible.  A neighbour has offered to pressure wash the step.
