MINUTES OF THE PLAYING FIELD MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY 12^TH APRIL 2022

• Minutes of the meeting held 8^th March 2022

RESOLVED that the minutes be signed. 

• Financial Matters

Application for an updated Bank account was completed.

• Annual return to Charity Commission

• Playing field
• New Litter Bin – The costs for single emptying of the new bin are charged at £6.01 per visit.  Clerk to contact DMBC to chase up when the new bin will be fitted.
• Queens Jubilee – Discussions took place regarding events on the Playing Field.  100 Free Children Packs for the day had been requested.  Parking would be in the field managed by the farmer on Grange Lane/The Paddock.
• Gate Access from the Pub – Discussions took place with regards to access being needed as parking in the pub Car Park to access the playing field was preferred to parking on Grange Lane.  The gate at Grange Lane end of the playing field was recently used by motorbikes, due to the tyre marks seen.  This was reported to SY Police.
• Charity Status – Burghwallis Parish Council are trustees for the Playing Field and Recreational Ground.

• Next Meeting

The next meeting to be held at The Burghwallis Public House commencing at 7.20pm.
