MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY 5^TH MARCH 2024

• Minutes of the meeting held on 23^rd January 2024

RESOLVED that the minutes be signed. 

• Matters arising from the minutes.
• Councillor Dave Maxwell reported he had not heard from the company regarding the war memorial gate repairs, which they have been asked to come out to check.
• Notice board needs replacing due to letting rain in.  The Board needs measuring to see what will fit onto the current posts. Action DM
• Fly Tipping is still an ongoing problem in the village.  A recent dumping of a large among of hospital waste was reported.  CDC cleared this away within 24 hours.

Great British Spring Clean is scheduled for 23^rd March.  To promote on the notice board and on Facebook.  To contact Councillor Grimes of any attendance as volunteers will need equipment – 01302 727186.

Community Engagement Meeting – Next meeting to be held at Woodlands Library on 25^th March commencing at 6pm. Councillors Shaun Slack and Chris McIlroy will attend.

Pinfold bottom step was reported as green and very slippery.

Volunteer Litter equipment was no longer available from CDC.  Prices would be investigated to purchase in the future                                                 Action BG

The annual contribution to the church magazine was approved.

The Trees have been received from Woodland Trust.  A date to plant is to be arranged.  These will be planted along Grange Lane & Scorcher Hills Lane.
