The village flag is lowered following the passing of John Smith, of St. Antony’s, Grange Lane. John was a long term village resident (65 years), and we pass our condolences on to his family.

We have been advised by DMBC that Grange Lane will be closed 40 metres from the junction with Old Village Street for a distance of 100 metres in a North Easterly direction, from 08.00 on Monday 24th October, until 17.00 on Friday, 28th October.
