Councillor Maxwell Thanked everyone for all their help and work over the past 6 years as Parish Councillors. Elections are due on 6th May and wished everyone good luck.

Tree Branches have been cut back.
New Owl box has been fitted
Councillor Grimes to remove the Covid signs
JM Scott is continuing to cut the grass.

Rent has been received.
Total of £587 in Poors’ Field “account. Councillor Laming’s is concerned there might not be enough to fund this year’s Christmas meal.
Due to no raffle last year income is down.
Compliments had been received on the lunches received

Councillor Grimes reported she had signed up for the Great British Spring Clean with a date early June to be confirmed.
Litter pick was arranged for 28th April 2021
An annual Chairman’s Report from Councillor Maxwell to be distributed in the village.

Grit bins on Scorcher Hills Lane has been stolen. Request new one also at Burghwallis Lane, both areas are slippery when Icy. Action: JH
Councillor Maxwell reported on being approached by a resident with regards to the field off Burghwallis Lane that currently has a building frame erected. Considering converting this to residential, however this is on green belt land. This area has previously been refused and also a dangerous road to come out of the field/area.
